I received an email purporting to be from paypal asking me to reactivate my account with them, except the link didn’t lead to where it claimed it was from. Jeez, for a bit there I was scared something had happened. Thank heavens I’m rather cautious when it comes to money on the Internet. I don’t know if GMail automatically filters phishing emails but I get much fewer of them from there.
Here it is: PayPal Phishing Email

I haven’t touched weed in two weeks now, it’s good. I’ve really had just about enough. We went to score yesterday though, the same place as otherwise, ice-cream:petrol bunk chaat shop:tea shop:road side. Someone I know said that their professor claimed that weed doesn’t have a smell and so you can’t tell if a person is smoking up or not when he lights up. That’s funny, that guy knows nothing. The first time B and I went to that place we knew we were at the right zone because of the smell, it was like runway lights pointing us in the right direction. Very strange, very funny. Just a little note, if you want stuff for 100 bucks, ask for two packets of 25 and then get a friend to ask for another two packets of 25. I just think there’s something fishy otherwise.
PS: You’re right, I don’t actually give a shit about Naruto or Sasuke or Kakashi or whatever, I couldn’t care less.

See, I’m a normal person, mostly. Sure I have a weakness for Japanese animated cartoons, but I’m a normal person. And I can’t imagine one instance where a person would wear some of the crap that’s paraded around as the newest fashion. It’s like this who bunch of people who all just tell each other how good they are when all of them are just a bunch of horrible, unimaginative, tryhards. No really, don’t take my word for it, just go have a look yourself, these ‘clothes’ are ridiculous and sadly, very few of them are flattering.
I mean, I’ve seen a couple of these things when they flash on the news: Lakmé India Fashion Week, and there’s all these women bouncing up and down a ramp and wearing stuff that just looks positively disgusting. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking from a moral angle, they all suck aesthetically. Let me give you a recipe for one of those clothes: Think of the most ugly thing on the planet, make cloth fit its form, cut random holes here and there, replace the cut cloth with fishnet, make a slit somewhere down the side, choose either a plunging neckline or cut the back out, heck! if you’re really in the mood get rid of both, now make 4 such dresses and make your model wear all of them, now put a pineapple on her head, brilliant! There you have it, lovely! Not really.
And now there are people worried that black people aren’t getting representation on the ramp! It’s like I woke up in some Bizarro world, they’re fighting to jump into the sewer. This is madness! The world has gone mad!

PC introduced me to Naruto a long time ago and I’ve been hooked to the series ever since. There doesn’t seem to be much point to the whole series actually, it meanders and fights take a bit long to get to and stuff, but I suppose that’s because they’re trying to stretch the series. Still it’s a pretty cool idea, the whole fox living inside his body and shit like that, that’s pretty funky. Especially since it’s got so many tails. These Japanese think of the most awesome ideas man, they’re so freaking cool!
I saw another awesome picture on the internet. Unfortunately, I do not remember where or I would give credit where due.
I found those two montages on the internet somewhere. Anyway, everyone’s favourite is either Uzumaki Naruto, Kakashi or Gaara but I’m more a fan of Sasuke Uchiha’s way of fighting in the anime. It’s much more fun than the rest because he’s like Bjorn Borg to the Naruto’s McEnroe, cool, composed, the thinking type. Yeah, much more fun.
Sure Gaara’s cool because he never sleeps (that’s why he has those dark circles under his eyes) and you can interpret the name to mean either ‘Desert’ or even more awesome, ‘Gaara of the Sand Waterfall’. He’s sort of like Naruto actually, nearly the same backstory, he also has a beast embedded in his body and he can partially transform into it and lose control.
But Sasuke’s much much cooler, and in fact he’s probably much more powerful than Naruto himself, especially when he’s being trained by Orochimaru. The best part is he has an elder brother who is way more powerful than him but who recognises that he can grow in power and actually eventually defeat him.

- Wikis
- Dunno but guessing something to do with Batman and Predator
I liked it, unfortunately it wasn’t NG — Non-googleable. At least you could check the answers.

Ragha is known to warp space-time to suit his purposes, often destroying worlds that barely existed. His mere name is known to cause electronic devices to flicker and fade as a field pulses in time with the non-beating of his heartless veins. People have dared attack Ragha before. They have tried, but few have managed to get near enough to him before he destroys their intrinsic field and frees the very atoms that make up a human being. Ragha isn’t just a man, he is something more or perhaps something less, we may never know.

Since my ampli5.org inbox is not greatly protected from spam email, I often get stuff that wouldn’t get past Gmail’s filters. Sometimes I get phishing attempt emails. Here’s one I had which I reported to the Anti-Phishing Working Group. Strangely enough, Firefox didn’t recognise it as a phishing site until right after I sent the email, so maybe they already have it and it took time to check. Here’s the email anyway:

It’s very weird because I don’t have an account at Teachers Credit Union. This is such a stupid idea, sending it to everyone.

Chetan mentions that his college didn’t allow him to do a particular project because they thought it had been done already. They encouraged him to go to a project centre to get a project that would be sure of being accepted. That’s strange considering the reason they gave for rejecting his project. This seems to mean that they don’t mind many students doing the same project in the same semester, strange.
Frankly, I think they’re getting kickbacks from this project centre.

Fascinating Judas Priest song, this is one of those songs that captures the feeling so very well. Marc and I went to his terrace today, the world looks very different from a high building, everything is below you and you can see lights in the distance. The best part is that you can see the stars. When I was on Mount Road you couldn’t see the stars because the sky was a perpetual blue glow. It was always too bright.
I’m feeling very well right now, and almost seem like I’ve lost sense of time. It’s a crazy time in the morning to be awake, and to be posting while awake. The bed beckons.
